Camp Description

All participants will learn basic concepts of financial planning and Python programming. Financial planning is an integral part of everyone’s lives, but it is not embedded in most high school and college curriculum. The goal of the course is to expose students to these concepts and empower them to practice healthy financial habits. Throughout the program, we take these financial concepts and write Python code to automate processes (Ex: calculate savings over time, calculate pseudo budgets, etc.). Students will work in groups to create a data science finance project, create a presentation explaining their journey, and present their findings as a team!
